by the way emos are not individuals as some people might say, because they all dress pretty much the same way and have the same style. being an emo is not being different its just being a freak

definition of freak :" a person or animal that is markedly unusual or deformed"
They are not different nor are they deformed therefore not freaks, they are just like you, nothing unique about em. To call them freaks would be a compliment

Why do you think they're freaks? Maybe they're just not afraid to steer away from the crowd and not be a 'Trendy Wendy'.
By the way, I had to put up with comments like yours at school because instead of having all the flashy clothes and stuff that everone else had I was a goth. Nothing to do with showing off or being a freak, it was just who I was. People like you made my life hell.

Wrong. I am proud to be the parent of a gifted and talented 4.0 GPA, 100% Emo Girl. She is beautiful, even in all black clothes, raven black hacked, spiked hair hanging over her heavily black lined crystal blue eyes. She expresses her emotions and learns ways to cope with day to day strife. The last thing I want is a kid who bottles their feelings up and feels like a reject and then steals my 9mm and goes on a shooting spree at school. I love MY EMO KID!!!!
