I am a temp worker, and this woman at work (I don't know if she liked me or what), but she followed me around while I worked. Even after her shift she would hang out talking to me (even though she knew I was married. I didn't start to feel uncomfortable until people started approaching saying she talks about me non stop when i'm not there. Instead of telling her that she makes me feel uncomfortable, I gave her a hard time, hoping she would take the hint to leave me alone. When she didn't stop, I didn't spell it out black and white and told her she needs mental help. She now is saying that I degraded her and harassed her by telling her she needs mental help and I lost my job because it (I never had the chance to explain my side). because she got angry, she now tells everyone that i'm a substandard worker now that I don't work there. Do I have any type of case of slander or any other claims?

No, you should have reported to your sup that she was making you feel unconfortable when you asked her to stop and she wouldn't. Now, it will just look like you trying to get back at her or trying to get your job back. Anyway, next time report it.
