No- different races can share the same religion. Like an Irish marrying a Latina- they're both Catholics, as is an Moroccan marrying an Iraqi.

No. Actually, I'm not getting your race/belief connection. Yes, most religions say to marry someone with the same belief. But, just about any religion can have followers of any race as far as I know. Take Christianity for example. According to the religion, could a black Christian marry a white Christian? Yes, they both have the same belief. So, I don't think it makes them racist. Now maybe words like religionist or beliefcentric (I just made those up) could apply.

Not all religions are but there are some...
Christianity: Is slightly racist by society despite being a Universal religion. Arab Christians would still in a US Christian society be subject to discrimination due to being Arab. And in history black people in the US and South Africa have been subject to persecution due to Christian beliefs.
Judaism: Is quite racist within society like Christianity. As many Jews are Ashekenazi they come from backward societies whether Russia or Eastern Europe that have latent racist feelings towards non-whites. Theologically Judaism only appealed to the children of Israel which was not inclusive of different ethncities.
Farrakhanism: Is very racist believing that whites are mutants and inheritantly evil. Their past leaders have advocated black supremacy over Caucasians.
Hinduism: with the caste system can be quite racist. In Indian society darker skin denotes lower class, furthermore complete white skin (like Europeans) is at the very bottom of the hierarchy.
Despite these negative views on race and religion I can think of religions that have positive views no matter what your race is, Buddhism is Universal religion which inclusive of all ethncities along with Islam which historically and today has welcomed people of all races.

Actually none of the major religions are in the least bit racist.
But they all get corrupted because if it's popular, it's powerful. And power attracts the least scrupulous people.
Now if you had said 'living religious leaders' instead of 'religions', I'd have been right with you.
Believing in a 'truth' isn't racist in itself, it depends what the 'truth' is.
A prophet might say 'God loves those who love flowers'
Whilst a follower might say, 'God hates all who do not cultivate flowers, therefore they must be killed'

Nope.
First of all, none of them say "marry people of the same race."
Some say to marry people of the same religion.
My religion says that you are allowed to marry outside of your religion.
No. Religions are not the number one cause of death:
Inquisition:
The Pope had power and he used the excuse of religion to root out those that could undermine his power.
Crusades:
There was a leader, probably the Pope, who needed support, so he decided to go to war, to get the people's support. Just look at the last crusade, the one that got greedy and sack the great Christian city of Constantinople.
"Hitler was not a Christian, he practised in the occult."
The worst man in the last 100 years was not Muslim, Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, or Hindu.
Hitler burned bibles and crosses in his Nazi Germany.
Peace.

I'm not trying to put religion down all together, but then why is it that more people have died over religion than ANY other cause of all time.

Islam gives everybody the most opportunity they can. For example in prayer or in swalah offering people of different ranks and background stand side by side and remember Allah subhanah, the Most Glorious.
As the Creator is the One and Only One, He has ordained only 'one way of life' commonly known as religion for us. It is we who have divided the ordained way of life into different ways or religions.

Yes. Religion is a business just like any other, You try and get new customers, but you don't give a stuff about people that shop else where.

the pope is great example of this. Look at the things he has said, unless you follow the catholic way to the letter, then you are a sinner in his eyes.
