why do people judge gays and lesbians... love is love!!!!! should it really matter on what we like if its the same sex or oppisite as long as we are happy right.... i dont understand i love my girlfriend and we are the same sex she loves me we are very happy and in love but we have to go somewere else to get married is hat very nice to us i dont think so.... why can somebody answe me why do they judge us like we always walk down the street and get made fun of because we are the way we are.....

The answer is simple, because you are different and most people can't handle that, sad but true (explained in Easy Rider). This is another manifestation of Conservitism i.e. the underachievement of weak-minded people. I grew up in the Mid-West and let me tell you the only freedom the vast majority of Mid-Westerners value is the freedom to be the same. They can't see that you are a happy couple they just don't get past the fact you are two women. Many people will not invest thought, they don't want to think on thier own, so they go with the quick and simple answer. I say Rock On, DrabDB

I can only suppose that apart from their one eyed one point limited page bibles they go into their back yards and brood on the stony waste. The former path is marked by a few broken tiles and the lawn or flower beds now contain dead woody weeds and clumps of yellow grass; sad reminders of once living things. Perhaps this is all they see where ever they go.
Sad when it takes them like that.

Your last sentence explains your problem!
When I walk down the street no one knows whether I am gay or straight and I live in a place that is a gay capital and holiday centre!
A few hetros kiss and cuddle in public but most do not. I suspect that you are getting a back lash because you are camping it.

Usually they are ignorant or judgemental.
Don't worry too much though, if you weren't gay there'd be something else people picked on you for. And the legal issues we have to deal with will be gone in time.
