That first answer is right, the gearbox is mounted underneath the engine and uses the same oil supply. If you follow the line of the engine oil dipstick you will see it actually goes into the gearbox.

There isn't a separate oil filler plug as the gearbox and the engine share the same oil,the gearbox is the sump and the sump is therefore the gear box!

All Mokes were made with intergrated engine and gearbox the oil filler plug for the engine is the gearbox filler plug.~~

Please don't take this as red, but i think the gearbox uses the normal engine oil. i don't think you put separate oil in the gearbox. just something i remember from somewhere.

engine oil. gearbox is the sump. all in one lubrication. oil is added via rocker box cover. level is determined by dipstick
