i only have $500 in my pocket. is this amount enough for me to travel to US. I would like to find a job and start a new life at there.

nowdays, visa application to USA is very tough. u have to go thru interogations by the USA embassy. u have to show them reports of ur bank statement n credit card statement. u have to show them every details/proper documents stating why u go there. if u wanna say "im broke, i wanna work in the USA", most probably they will kick u out of the embassy.
for your information, 500 cannot even afford an air ticket to USA. unless u share with some one's ticket else, and tear it into 2 pieces.
give me ur 500, and i'll bring u to port klang and kick u into the sea, dont worry, rm 500 includes a rubber duck toy, just in case, u are lonely while swimming to the USA. delicious seafood is provided. and free salt drinks.

Before you buy any ticket with your meagre 500rm, please check with the Embassy of America..whether you are eligible to enter or not.Make an appointment with the officer to apply a visa to enter.
Most probably you will get rejected and barred from entering for 10 yrs if you're still around because they would have easily found out what is your intention base on the question that you had asked above!!

1. Board any free fare air asia plane.
2. Hijack the plane, force the pilot change the route to USA.
3. Upon arrive in USA, bribe the police with your $500 to let you go.
4. Finally, start a new life in USA.

Nope, there is NO way you could ever go to US with $500!
with that amount of money..i would say..you could only buy a return ticket to any Domestic flight ticket in Malaysia and settle down your on your new life at any of the destination...say...Langkawi? spend about RM240.00on one way flight..then the rest of the money..you could use it for temporary budget place to stay and maybe spend some on your daily meal too until you get any good job ...
$500? it can only settle quarter of my house rent monthly!
if you still want to go to the US...first of all..you need someone from US, to sponsor you or in other word..recommend your stay with the US EMBASSY that you are going to live with them and want to get a visa for job too...then, you have to have at least RM3000.00 to get on the flight US..then another RM10K - RM20K..to be able to rent a room or a place to stay and your daily meals and travelling expenses...these are until you get a secure job over there...

Get a mountain bike and you'll be in US in 5 mths time. Beg for food along the way. Sleep in parks and shower in public toilets.

im sorry to tell u that u can't. wit onli rm 500..u cant even pay for the economy class tickets to USA. the cheapest airfare to states is approximately rm 2500 via north west airline. Even if u wanna b an illegal immigrant n work there illegally...u nd to have at least enuff money to run... even rm 500 is insufficient to survive in singapore. singapore standard of living is higher...unless u have relatives in spore tat u can bunk for free n eat for free in the midst of u searching for a new job..(rm500= abt 220sgd)...a cheap low budget hotel stay anite is already 50 bucks(www.hotel81.com.sg) .
IN short..u nd to save more to run away... to usa u nd much more...i suggest u to save more...go spore to work as pay is much higher there...easier for u to save...then onli to USA.. to apply for visas to USA..they will nd to c money in ur bank acc statements, qualifications, and there is also interview at the US embassy. work hard , save hard and ur dream will come true!

are u like kidding me !
u need at least RM 30,000 for tickets and accomodition etc.. and i think its not even enuff.. think about doing it if u have at least RM100,000 in yr account
