Try a cup of strong chamomile tea. It works for a lot of people. Just make sure that you cover the cup with a dish for 5 minutes while it infuses, to keep the essential oils in (the essential oils are where the therapeutic activity comes from).

Burning essential oils in an oil burner can often do the trick as well. My favourite sleep blend is sweet orange, sweet marjoram and lavender. Use 2 drops of each and leave the diffuser going in your room for around 10 minutes before bed. I have an electric diffuser so I don't have to worry about a candle, but it's still fine to use a candle & water burner as long as there is no draft.

Eat a banana or some yoghurt in the evening. They contain amino acids that can induce sleep.

Avoid coffee, tea or high sugar foods for at least 2 hours before bedtime.

Make yourself go to bed at the same time each night, even if you read for a bit beforehand.

Never watch TV in bed, especially if you find it hard to go to sleep.

Consider a calcium supplement

that is an somewhat puzzling decision to make. In a fashion, you're dropping a baby. I had to place down my irish setter some years in the past. He had a stroke, and that they reported he does not get better. He grew to become into my chum. I used to snicker and joke, saying that i did no longer want a boyfriend when I had my canines to cuddle with. that is going to be puzzling. the superb difficulty you're able to do is renowned your grief. do no longer permit her die on my own. i would be unable to stress this adequate--or you will sense responsible for something of your existence. Be genuine there along with her. It happens speedy, and that is totally humane. that is going to interrupt your coronary heart. that is going to take a jointly as to recover from. in basic terms bear in mind each and all of the sturdy thoughts you have had along with her. provide her a competent funeral--afterall, she is the "baby of your coronary heart".
