My wrist hurts when I lift weights. What seems to be the problem? Is it how I hold the weights?

I'm now using wrist protective gear.

maybe your muscles aren't built up enough yet and until then they will hurt or maybe it's carpal tunnel. I didn't know i had it until i became a server.

my sister is a professional trainer and weight lifter 2nd place champ... any whoo.. she said to always wear protective support when lifting with wrist or back. you may be using too much weight with the wrist knock it down by half and use more reps with the lighter weight. Be careful because you could develope carpal tunnel so dont over do it.
