Tony Bennett is a no doubt a good coach,he raised the level of play of the cougars. He made them ranked 11 in the nation. He is probably a candidate but I think the chances he has are moderate because there are other coaches who are also worthy of COY award .For example John Thompson III and the Hoyas,Thad Matta and the Buckeyes,Roy Williams and the Tar Heels,Bo Ryan and the Badgers. There are also coaches who have lead their teams above expectations like Billy Gillispie's Aggies,Mike Brey and the Fighting Irish or maybe Butler's Todd Lickliter.
