Yes, either you can use an anti-virus or you may rename or you may move that to other place then delete it. However for doing all these, you will need to be logged in as Administrator. Also, if the virus is not being deleted, most chances it is a application file which runs automatically when you boot your computer. so you may need to find the application whether it is running. for that you will need to go to Task Manager>>Processes and find and end task that first. After that you will be able to delete the file easily. Hope this will help you.

get a program called move on boot. point it to delete the program and then reboot. ( you should get a virus scanner that will tell you if the program is a virus, Try AVG FREE.
It might not be a virus, it could just be that the program has a flaw, where its still running in one of your processes, Try rebooting into safe mode, (F8 after the lights flash on the keyboard when booting). when in safemode, delete the file, reboot...

use a good antivirus software such as 'pc-cillin' , 'mcAfee', ' norton antivirus' etc...
scan for tat file n the software will remove [ by quarantinin or deletin ] tat file
usually virus infected files cannot b deleted manually ... tho u can do it if the virus is not too damagin

Use some anti viurs software such as AVG and then run that it will pick it up, and then you can terminate the files.
