What is the difference between a B.Tech and B.E degree?

Technically speaking.. there is no diffrence...
But in india...
almost all engineering colleges use B.E. to address their degree progams in engineering..(.normally it is a 4 yr program)These degrees are approved by AICTE

Education centres like aptech , NIIT, etc address thier 3-4 years computer education program as B.Tech.... their programs are not approved by AICTE....
