Will washing remove the smell entirely? My friend once washed a similar pair of shoes and they became really tight and the smell was still there. Please help me, they stink real bad!!

You can wash them in the washing machine. Don't put them in the dryer though. Stuff the toes with socks if you'd like to make sure they don't become too tight etc... You may want to add shoe polish after wash to make them look nice. Washing in washer usually just does a basic cleansing. To get rid of smell put in some Gold Bond or Baking Powder. It should absorb into the shoes. Each night before bed put a dryer sheet in your shoes. This will keep the smell away and you won't have to wash as often.

No need to wash your Nike sneakers, you can just use a sprinkle of Baking Soda in them it will absorb the odors and they will smell clean and fresh, just empty out the baking soda when you wear your sneakers and pour some fresh in them while wearing them this will not hurt your feet any, or you can simply dust your shoes inside with Baby powder in the same way. thats it real easy and you won't wear out your shoes by washing them all the time. You can also use crumpled up newspaper in each shoe over night and they will be clean and fresh smelling in the morning; simple as that ! Good Luck !

most of the time it´s not the shoe it´s the inner sole that smell´s you can buy new ones from your chemist I wish my trainers in tepid water using the good old fashioned bar soap. Take the inner sole out wet the trainers then rub the soap in leave them for a while out of the water, then add more soap you can then either wash them like this or pop them in to the washing machine on 40cº . Once the shoes have been washed the quickest way to get them dry is this way , which is not a joke . Put normal rice inside the sole of shoe , then stuff as many clothes as you can inside the shoes . Leave to dry in a warm place & by tomorrow they will be dry . Try for yourself

Take out the laces, and in sole, soak them and the shoes in a pail or sink of warm soapy water and some bleach. I usually use a finger nail brush to scrub, in and out, and rinse well with clean water. If you dry them slowly over night, couple days, they shouldn't shrink. I like to dry them off in warm sunlight. Also crumpling newspaper, stuffing the wet shoe works well to absorb moisture. Try baking soda, sprinkle some in shoes to absorb moisture

Not if funky bacteria have already called your sneakers it's home. I used to have stinky sweatshirts I wear jogging every morning. I killed the bacteria with 70% alchohol. You could buy it at any drugstore. Then wash your sneakers as usual.
