Apparently with level 5 water restrictions in some parts of Australia we're not suppose to have over 4 minute showers.

It used to takes me 30-40 minutes, up to a few months ago, but lately I've been rushing my showers, and after I
- shampoo my hair
- wash my face
- lather my arms, underarms, legs, chest, back
- wash off above mentioned places
- rinse out shampoo
- condition my hair
- rinse out conditioner
my fastest record is 15 minutes _rushing_..

Who here believes the 4 minute shower restrictions to be impossible? I don't believe anyone can shower in under 15 minutes (possibly 10 minutes) without cleaning themselves thoroughly.

How long does it take you to shower? What is your shower routine? Do you have any advice to cut down shower times? Should I only shower every second day?

It takes me at least 4 mins to wake up in the shower before i begin everything else. To shampoo, condition , wash everywhere and shave my legs ( everyday, then under my arms, every 3 days) a min of 15 minutes. Showers use less water than baths and are cleaner and more refreshing. Who's silly idea was it to restrict shower times???? I suppose we could share showers, but that could take some splainin to the children ( or parents, depending on your situation ) and it's just a guess, but if we were sharing a shower, i figure it may take a little longer then my normal 15 mins..... for one reason or another.... :- )

I totally believe you...we are coming up for level 5 soon too, but a shower does take longer than 4 minutes. My reasoning is that I deserve this little pleasure particularly in summer when tourists are taking our precious water...also the power stations north of here use heaps, then my 5-8 minutes once a day is OK to me....I save in other ways.

Average around 15-20 minutes, but I only shampoo every other day to keep my hair healthy.
I'd hate to be around someone that only takes four minute showers every day!
I usually wash my face at the sink, but other than that- pretty much the same routine.

In India water is priceless and that's repudiated as god. I never waste water because of the fact I even have seen how many problems got here after tsunami. There are not any regulations yet every person care approximately water. No water no existence no water no earth

There's no way I could shower properly in 4 mins or less. I recently installed a 'water saving' shower head and because there's less water flowing out I'm in the shower even longer!
