He's brilliant.

I was recommended to start reading him by a Waterstone's employee years ago - I wanted the Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman book Good Omen's, but they'd sold out. He said "If you like Good Omen's you'll love this" and handed me a copy of Armageddon the Musical. He was right - I loved it!

Robert Rankin has such imagination. He's fab :)

I'm a fan!!

I first came across him in the talking book section of the library.

It's really good to hear Robert Rankin read his own books. Fantastic!!

I love Douglas Adams too, 'Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy is great', love it! Although I haven't read any Terry Pratchett yet, and I really know that I should. It's just difficult trying to find the first ones in the series.

I bought one by accident, thinking it was Ian Rankin, and since then both I and my son are hooked. Son already fan of Terry Pratchett, who I don't really like but Robert Rankin has me rolling in the aisles.
Other suggestion: Jasper Fforde, particularly the Nursery rhyme series.

I think he's a great writer, prattling old toot to anyone who'll read it. You should try Terry Pratchett, Tom Holt and Douglas Adams as well.
