The biggest achievement a woman or man can have is to strive for happiness and self fulfillment. Everybody has different goals (some it's a family, some it's a career), but doing something about it is the achievement. The journey is the achievement.

This is a very good question in deed and a sensitive one too.

Before we say what is the achievement , we need to talk about nature, society and the share of man and woman in it. We need to talk little openly and honestly about it to actually answer this question.

For all said and done, the ultimate goal of a human being (irrespective of male or female) is to continue the human race.

Nature has given certain responsibilities (whether we like them or not) to both males and females. Fortunately or unfortunately, it has defined that only females can 'produce' life and males can help them doing so. It has also indirectly indicated that it may be the females that have to take 'care' of their babies. Please don't jump on me harshly on the prior sentence. The evidence comes from the fact that females have the organs to feed the babies and not the males. It's natural. We may not like it, but that's plain truth.

Now nature also gave us a bit of 'thinking' power. It makes us to question the nature back which is perfectly fine. We can question it back saying "No.. we don't want to produce the babies" or "we don't want to feed them because it is going to hurt our physique". Both the above questions are perfectly valid because they come from our thinking capability which is given by Nature again.

Let us talk about society. With the natural power of 'thinking' abilities, we created societies ourselves and defined roles. We ourselves defined that while woman gives birth, it's the responsibility of both man and woman to take care of the kids. Some ancient societies defined family system where man takes care of collecting the necessities while woman takes care of arranging them so that family survives.

With the time, societies changed. In the modern era, both woman and man work the same with some of the natural duties are getting changed. One of the natural duties of feeding the baby by breast is now replaced with artificial (I apologize) stuff. May be tomorrow, doctors may change things in such a way that Man may be able to carry a womb and give birth or carry milk sacks so that he could feed the baby?. That time, some rules in societies may get changed again...

Coming back to the question - We are all living now because of our parents.. Now we can be selfish by just living ourselves to the maximum extent and not bother about future. If everyone thinks that way, then there won't be any human life left tomorrow.

Think that the current generation (all those that have no children) doesn't want to produce children. They can get into a massive trouble during their old age because there won't be anyone left to take care of them. All of them will be old and they won't be able to help each other. So, that will be a tough life to live.

So, you gotta produce generations and they will have to be good. So, the ultimate achievement for either a woman or a man is to ensure that their children constitute a good society.

frankly speaking, there can be no biggest achievement in one's life, be it a woman or a man. because, when we succeed in one goal,we again have another and when that is achieved we set one more goal. this goes on and on...and still one feels incomplete.that is the problem with us mortals.
