Sometimes it will.
Other times I'll play for a while and then go to bed and just lay there playing guitar in my mind and can't get it out like a song stuck in my head....
Sometimes it keeps you up.

NO! I'm the world's worst guitar player, and I get all uptight when I pluck a wrong string or something.
However, enough of my problem. Playing takes concentration, so listen to some of the world's best guitar players, softly, while you lie there. There are some great classical guitarists, as well as guys like Chris Spheeris, Govi, John Williams . . .the list goes on.

I've got the same problem, the thing here is your not lying in bed and concentrating on sleeping your playing music. you should try listening to some music instead and fall asleep to that. to fall asleep you have got to be relaxed and comfortable. good luck

I think it would depend on your music choice. Enjoy what you like for sure but just like computer games etc. some of it could over stimulate you mind making sleep difficult. The more you rev up your mind makes sleeping difficult.
