Six sequels I think, (after the one that was turned into a movie, lion witch and wardrobe!)

I wonder why all those Bible belt religious groups allowed the books to be published, since the series ends with the end of narnia and judgement day, Aslan proclaiming himself the Supreme God of all worlds, saying that even if the guys didn't know about him and prayed to other Gods, They would be allowed to enter heaven (Aslan's world) if they are pure of heart.

I mean they tried to remove potter from libraries and schools for witchcraft in this century, when 50 years ago, they had allowed Aslan to utter such blasphemous words in a children's book series. Were they sleeping?
They were published in this order,

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
Prince Caspian: The Return to Narnia
The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
The Silver Chair
The Horse and His Boy
The Magician’s Nephew
The Last Battle

But The author agreed with his son, that the correct reading order should be
The Magician's Nephew
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
The Horse and His Boy
. Prince Caspian
The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
The Silver Chair
The Last Battle

in addition to the 7 books in the chronicles, previously listed, there have also been many shortened/simplified adaptations made into picture books and the like.

possible SPOILER -->

i have also heard that there was a book written more recently (not by lewis himself, obviously) that people believe is supposed to be about susan. the main character is a woman named su; her whole family died when she was younger in a train accident (which you find out is what happened in the end of the last book), including a brother named "ed" (edmund) and another brother named "pete" (peter). it never specifically says that it is susan pevensie or mentions narnia by name, but it is pretty obvious that it is her story after the end of "the last battle".
