l have a new fridge.Bought it 4 weeks ago.l have already replaced the light 4 times in as many weeks.Correct globe is always bought.l am going to ring the manufacturer,but was wondering whether someone in the know can explain why this is happening.Appreciate your answers.thank you.

There is a fault in the refrig. or there is a fault in the light bulbs. It could be that the design of fridge or bulb was mistaken. I'd do a general web search on the refrig model, there could already be something known about it. Speak to the dealer too. If the bulbs are actually blowing but work at first I'd guess that someone specified the wrong type of bulb.

Sounds like the wrong globe is being used. Talk to the manufacturer. This situation might have happened to other persons, and the manufacturer probably already knows about it, and has an answer.

probably the fridge is outputting too much power and thereby overloading the light and exploding it
