ok i was thinking of wearing a brown sweater that has a pink sewing hem and a brown/pin skort tommorow
it goes to the mid thigh
thats how short it is
and some light pink converse
problem is my parents wont ever let me wear this kind of skort
im not pretty but alot of my legs show
im also in the 7th grade j

If it is a skort that makes it better. Maybe wear tights or thigh high socks? Probably thight high socks with the converse. And if you really want to wear the skort, you can wear "decoy clothing" into the school then change in the bathroom? Though I have never done it myself it seems to have worked well for others.

for a girl your age, it might be attracting the wrong kind of attention and may also be the reason why your parents don't want you to use that.
of course, if it's something that will make you feel good about yourself....i'd say go for it. i know there are worse out there and that doesn't sound as bad as other things. yes, it is borderline on the length of the skirt. still at least you're wearing a sweater. ...so go for it...as long as you don't get in trouble with your parents.

the sweater no, the skort yes. There is a reason your parents would say no. You are still too young for that look and there are a lot of pervs out there.

The colours are ok actually but yes, I think it's too short.And worse if you're not that confident about wearing them 'cos you're afraid that your parents might know then it would certainly make you feel 'trashy' and not carry it well.
A suggestion,if you'd still like to wear the skirt,is to probably wear a tights(might show a little but it's ok) that's of a different complimentary colour or black.That way you can still feel comfortable.
