I guess it depends on the situation. I generally enjoy spanking guys and so I would opt for that but only if it was not what he wanted. I would also ensure I spanked him to tears which would probably mean I would have to use my hairbrush, paddle or bamboo stick.
Though it is the case that a spanking can make a man sexually aroused and can, as others suggest, enhance sex it does not follow that the arousal is because he actually enjoys the spanking. If however you think that is what he wants (to be spanked) you should try something else, it depends on the guy. I sometimes scold, sometimes I use cold war and not speak at all, often I banish him from the bedroom and refuse to help him in any other ways I might normally do. However, it is all dependent on what he has done.

I cannot tell if you are joking or if you really mean he has done something bad. So, I will provide both answers.

If he was being naughty in the bad way as in he did something wrong, then I don't think spanking will do any good but arouse his hormones. Scolding him might or might not create a change in him as all men are different. Oh, and yelling at him will definitely not help and will most likely lead to a divorce than a change in his ways. You can try to be disappointed in him and hopefully, he SHOULD care enough about you to change his ways.

If, you are talking about your boyfriend/husband being sexually naughty, then I guess spanking him would be a good idea here.

My wife uses a variety of methods to punish me depending on the situation. If the kids are home she can use a thin cane that hurts and leaves welts but does not make a lot of noise. She gags me with her panties to muffle my cries.

If we are alone at home she uses a wooden handled 2" leather strap and or her Spencer Paddle. She likes me secured to the bed spread eagle and likes to do it hard and fast. Why do you feel you should be "disciplining" him ? I presume he's an adult and not a pet or a child ? People in relationships shouldn't need to "discipline" each other, they can communicate their feelings and positions and then attempt to seek a resolution.
