I keep dreaming of my childhood sweetheart. We played together as kids and in high school, we started dating. He didnt live in my hometown but his grandmother did and that is how we met. Things didnt work out because of the distance so it ended. Last I know he was married with a kid and I have two kids but I am not married. This has been over 12 years since I last seen him. Now all of a sudden, without even thinking about him, I have been dreaming about him. This has been on and off for several months. Each time in the dream, there is nothing going on. He just appears where I am at in the dream and tells me he loves me and I wake up. Last night I dreamed I was in the bed and he came off from under the covers with a black and white tuxedo on, he was on top of me and looked me in my eyes and told me that he loved me. Right then the alarm clock was going off. Upon waking up, I caught myself telling him that I loved him too. I dont understand. Can someone interpret?

It is very common for people to dream about ex-partners. Individuals that have been an important part of our lives continue to take up a part of our mind and heart. It is impossible to very dramatically shut the person out of thoughts and feelings. Just because the relationship ends does not mean that all is finished. You will continue to dream about your ex boyfriend until you "let go" of him on a very important level, or until you learned your lessons from that relationship. Either way, dreaming about your ex-romance does not predict future involvement. It may be wish-fulfillment, reliving memories, or working out old issues.

Sit dwon and think it over, are u in a relationship right now? u hav not been having fun recently, u must be leading a kind of boring life, it is a funny rule when there are no external activities u will automatically look inward for fun, start savouring ur past escapade, or u just met someone that remind u so much of him. Baby it is hightime to get urself a lover. And if there is none forthcoming, get engrossed in ur work and start to look very beautiful and sexy and try to get more fun. Forget about him he is just one sweet memory and remember he is married, seeing him can be a good medication, and i believe there is this conscience thing between u, who flopped in the relationship? if there is anything try and sort it out with him, get used to the idea of him being married and off-limit

I can relate, I also dream about my first love as a teenager, we were serious I still wonder how she is and if she still thinks as much of me, as I still think of her... That is why I feel guilty for those private thoughts because I have been married to my 2nd love 4 almost 30 YEARS now !! So be very careful who you give pieces of your heart to because sometimes,,, you might not get them all back !!

Did things have an actual end or were the loose ends never tied up? Or perhaps subconciously you want to go back to a simpler, pre-kid time and that's when he was in your life.

Quit thinking about him in the day so that you won't dream of him at night. There is no interpretation to your dream except that you think too much of him.

Your concience is aching you. I can't really help you because I don't know what happened with you two in the past, but I can sense a bit of regret... Whatever it may be, you have to deal with your concience. Good luck :-)

I think about my first love all the time... I really think if she ever asked me, I'd take off with her in a heart beat.
