I am using Compaq Presario C300, I want to listen fm offline, as I heard it is possible to listen fm radio.
Can anyone tell me please is it possible. If possible then how? Does it need any hardware (card etc) software etc....

There are some TV tuner cards that have FM radio capabilities. Also, if you look hard enough, you can find a few USB TV tuners that have FM radio capabilities, too. They will come with the necessary software to tune in FM radio frequencies.

If you have anything other then Dial up then yes. Open something like Windows media player and go to URGE then click Radio and there are a few there. If your trying to get like a radio station on line like going to there www. and clicking listen now you should be able to still listen after you close your service provider (AOL...) I hope this helps.

You can get a tv tuner with am/fm tuners also.

I think now days you can also get a USB FM receiver.

you need to have windows media player
not sure about offline, i dont think you can though, coz Radio requires internet access

I think it is possible if you are connected to the internet; that where channels are refreshed
