Click on the start button, choose run then type regedit in the box and then enter.

Click on the start button, run, type in REGEDIT and click ok


But make sure you take a back up before changing anything

As the person said above... Start...Run....Regedit.....Enter....

But most of these settings wont take place until you restart your pc.. Depends on program, some read it when they start... windows generallly loads and reads during start up.


U can corrupt and stop your PC from booting, But if you know your doing then this is the heart and brains of windows settings and config....

1. click start button
2. click on the 'run' button
3. type regedit and press ok
4. backup your registry by clicking file and export.
5. save your registry in any document in any name.
6. do what you want.
7. if anything goes wrong, import your registry by using the
same method as backup ing your registry.
