Yes and No.
It all depends upon your background and how you were raised.

After already being exposed to lots of sex when I was 18 thru 23 years old, I intentionally became celibate for 6 years.
I was a devoted Christian responding to what I felt God was calling to do during that time in my life.

During those 6 years of celibacy, I was doing good at the beginning. I eventually started feeling deprived and longing to get laid. I became very grouchy and moody and masturbating became a hobby.

After 6 years, I was so much in need of woman to heal me.
I won't tell how I found the woman to do me a favor you figure it out.

Well anyway,The woman that serviced me, made me realize that I was not made to be celibate. She did a great job.
I felt like a was human again.

I was not moody and grouchy anymore. I felt good and balanced after.

Sexual deprivation can cause unnecessary psychological behaviors such as low self esteem, depression without knowing why, feeling like you are living within 4 walls and etc.

It could lead you down the road for some shameful acts.

This is why God said it is not good that man be alone.

I think its true, there are actual health benefits from it, such as an orgasm is good for cramps. Theres nothing better than being with a partner who you know loves you, but if you dont have one masterbation works. Yes i said masterbation., for both sexes! There are studies that a heathy sex life helps you live longer and relieves stress, a majior cause of heart attacks.

Benjamin Franklin said there were only two reasons for a person to have sex, one being to procreate and the other one being for ones own health.
