I want to go there as a psych major in Campbell, Ca - I want to get my BA and MA there....Does anyone know anything about that school? How is it compared to SJSU or UCSC?

I'm quite familiar with all the decent schools in CA. JFK is not one of them. To put it bluntly.

If you insist on considering it, specifically go on campus and check out the psych professors. See how the interaction is with the students. Are they very helpful to them? Compare it with San Jose State and Santa Cruz profs.

The only reason to go to JFK (unless they make tuition free) over the state schools is if you find a professor who will go out of his way to help you get into grad school or get a job afterwards. Campbell is too close to San Jose. You can still live at home for both schools. You lose any location advantage a small private school might have. It's only possible selling points would be if they offered you a full ride and there were a couple of great professors who'd go way out of their way to help you out (and I mean, way out of their way).
