Looking for tips on growing watermelons in zone 5. Should I start them early from seed in greenhouse? What soil is preferred? Good varieties for approx. 80 to 90 days? Any tips appreciated! Thanks!

Go to your garden center. They sell the plants. They will tell you when to plant them outside, and any other info you need.
