I rejoice. I waited all bloody week for this. I don't usually lament that Monday is fast approaching until Sunday night. Unless I'm drunk. Then I'm just too dumb Monday is fast approaching, and I'm a tad slow setting the alarm clock. Which only makes a Monday more of my weekend.

not all of us are trapped in or have the luxury of (depending on your point of view) a monday to friday job.
as for myself, i rejoice when thursday arrives, for then i begin my DJ nights, and i'm idle after saturday night.
when spring arrives, i'll begin a new lawn care season, and the day of the week becomes totally irrelevant.
restaurant and other service workers can probably relate to that.
