Your CD collection by Alphabetical (name of group), Chronological (album release date) or Biographical (what was going on in your life at the time)?

First alphabetical...omitting 'The' and "A/n". Then chronological by album release date. Such information is cross referenced if none or if more than one date is cited.
All CDs are stored, in their case, with text upright and face forward.
Sticky fingers are a no-no and all played CDs must be washed (with hot soapy water) before they return to their respective jewel.

Every cd is alphabetical by group = then it's split into release year = if more than one release in the same year (often, singles), then it's again alphabetized...........

Alphabetical by artist (last name or first non-article word), then chronological by release.

Alphabetically but not by name of the group/singers rather by the names of people who borrowed and are still to return my CDs. sigh.

they go in order of what i listened to most, the most listened to went in the front... i got an mp3 player for x-mas though and they are alphabetized by song title in one menu, artist in another, and album in the third.

I have all my music on my computer now. I usually buy the cd, load it, and then toss it in a box in the closet.

nope i juz chick it in a pile in a box
when ever i want it i will go and look for the cd it is fun to go through my stuff like a mad dog

I used to by group or artist, now my iPod does it for me.
