hrm, maybe its not quite connected properly,

you could take it out and put it back in, or just jiggle it a little bit.

Or after that, still no good, you could turn the computer off and the turn it back on (restart) it.?

Maybe get a computer person to have a look at it for you?

Or ask the ppl from where you bought it?

Maybe a friend, or family knows about that sort of things and could possibly help?

Goodluck!! =]

Your question is a little difficult to read without punctuation. However, try taking the cartidge out again and check there's no bits of sticky tape still on it, then reinsert it and make sure it's fully home.

1. make sure the ink cartridges are in correctly. then go into your printer options and run the alignment tool.

2. make sure you're using the correct cartridges.

3. concerning the software/hardware is not digitally signed just continue the installation.

They probably have some kind of detection scheme to make sure you only use "authentic" ink. (Theirs) And it's probably malfunctioning. Check to see if there's any bits tape still on the cartridge you were supposed to remove.

take the cartridge back first !!!!! lexmark cartridges are signed in some way to be ID by the software (this could be faulty ???)

You should uninstall the printer and try to install it again...there might be some issues with the driver.
