Obviously, it varies from person to person. But lets just assume that a person remains in relatively good shape their whole lives.
At around what age do you think the average man is at his most physically attractive, and around what age do you think the average women is at her most physically attractive state?
Obviously some people age better than others, but lets just assume the person ages averagely and remains in good shape as they age.
What do you think?

At around my age, plus or minus five years or so. That's been the case most of my life so far. :)

I am 44 and get more compliments now than i ever did. I think you become more comfortable with yourself, as you age, and you figure out that a great deal of what seemed important to you in the past no longer applies. I no longer feel the need to compete. I used to run 10 miles every morning and go to the gym 4x a week, as well as work out at home. Now i work out for 20 -30 mins a day, if i miss a day, i don't worry about it, it means i had something more interesting to do. I think if your confident and relaxed people find that attractive. I think men in their late 30s - 40s are attractive, maybe because most of them ( not all lol ) are beginning to leave boyhood behind, and have a few of lifes lessons under their belt.

The age beyond 40 is the best age when one is fully blossomed to the limit and is rich with grace to experience to knowledge.
As far as the women goes well 30 plus is the most sensual,riped and attractive age
Well than it again depends on an individual what he or she is looking in opposite sex or what definition he or she has for attractiveness??

I would say early 20s for girls and mid 20s for guys. Females in early 20s have such a sprkle in their eyes, so ready to find the right man. Man take a little longer to get their heads on straight, which would make them more attractive to a normal girl. Side note- mature pregnant women are so inherently beautiful- creating life is amazing

If you mean the widest range of possible partners intrested in them then probably around 30, that would leave women from 20 to 40 as possible mates. Same with a woman too.

men seem to get real hot at 40 if they have taken care of themselves....
