lay a blanket on the ground and put some of their bright toys all around them...let them squirm and roll around....the walkers they sit in is nice..but they don't get the exercise they need -my cousin who had a child a few days after mine..she put her child in one of these walker a lot...and when my babe was sitting up..hers still had not developed the muscles he needed to sit up with......when you just let them squirm and roll around they end up working all their muscles...I am older and have never heard the term "tummy time" before..but I guess it is pretty much what I am talking about.......

they tend to give themselves exersize. any movement that they are doing whether it's reaching for a toy, sitting on it's own, rolling over, and standing with assistance. All of that is exersizing. those walkers are great though probably more so when they bounce especially for a 6mo. old

My son has an evenflo excersaucer which he loves. He bounces and jumps in it all the time. It also has toys to help his development. Its wonderful and I would suggest it to anyone. You could also get a Jumper that you put in your door way.

tummy time will strength your baby's neck and shoulders. it may also push up on legs as well to learn to crawl

We use a jolly jumper too

let them have tummy time. encourage this w/ light up toys that move and roll so baby will crawl after toy. children are fun loving so if they are unrestricted they will crawl, pull up, sit, and roll around. its fun and strengthens their little muscles.
