...we rah-rahed the war and it went on for three or four or eight more years and we "won"????

Doesn't it stand to reason that the longer it continues, the more lives will be lost?? Or is this the "new math"? (Or maybe the result of the awful educational system in place in the USA today) (That no one seems ready to do anything about...)

BUT A VIETNAMESE GENERAL FROM THE 60S SAID SO... it has to be true... hahaha

the simple fact is... every situation is different... and you need a REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY SUPER GOOD REASON... if you want to start a war... and we don't have those in the wars we have lost... and we don't have one for Iraq...

those that support the war are under the assumption that Iraq is the only thing that keeps the terrorists from attacking us... how they know this... or why they think this... is far beyond me...

I guess it's just simply... "they are middle eastern, so they are terrorist, so we need to kill them... if we don't they'll kill us"... but, unfortunately the situation is only about 500 billion times more complicated than that...

Losing this war with Iraq will inevitably cost multiple more casualties of innocent American men, women and children. I cannot imagine that anyone could believe that if we pull out of Iraq and left Iran, North Korea and other terrorist countries that they will just leave us alone.

No, we will simply endure more 9/ll tragedies, we will be subjected daily to suicide bombers.

Life in the U.S. will be drastically changed and we will be destroyed. We will always be in fear of our government officials being beheaded to set an example. Our military will be disbanded. Our freedoms will be lost for both rich and poor, good and bad. It is incomprehensible to envision the result of putting our tail between our legs and running away.

It is imperative that we look at the big picture and not get weary and allow us to be overtaken by terrorists.

Truly a bunch of crackerjack lawyer wannabes that have not yet realized that when you argue a subject you do have to use reason....it's reasonable doubt...not unreasonable!

I have grown up in a family of arguers! Any subject can be spun so far away from the truth and still be sort of recognizable or hold the smallest grain of truth!

To keep supporting something that is obviously wrong and was started under malicious circumstances......is the ultimate dereliction of duty!

It's pure lunacy dreamed up by some hate radio kook. What's scary is the people that believe it, and are willing to spend the time to prove their kookiness to the rest of the world. Treat it for what it is.

It's pure old rally round the flag propaganda. But you better buy in because to speak out against the war, to say let's get our kids back home now, is unpatriotic.

It is right to end a war as soon as possible, but only if you end the war by winning. Undermining the war effort is delaying victory therefore causing more deaths.
