I ask questions but do not expect so many to be so serious about everything. I often pose ideas in a question not that I always believe every word is gospel but to hopefully get more than one side of an issue. Some sure take everything personal and can't, be objective.
Tomorrow will be here even if I am not. Do what you can but enjoy life on the way.

There are people that feel very strongly about things. There's probably a reason for it. When you ask questions, a lot of the people that answer have a special interest in whatever you asked about. It sounds like you need someone to play devil's advocate with. It's something I enjoy doing because I think it opens your mind to different perspectives.

I think some people may just be passionate about certain things and that's why they take things seriously and are unwilling or unable to be objective. I agree with you that life is too short to be serious all the time.

There's a reason why we're here and who knows, God might be doing an experiment on us...life is so damn hard and I'm about to break.
I guess just live like you're writing a book of yourself because that's pretty much what you're doing.

If you just want to have fun, stay away from heavy religious, political and emotionally charged issues.
People will have fun with you, but you have to let them in on the joke.
I wrote this years ago:
God laughs everyday because people are funny.
(And, most of us aren't even trying to be.)
