Geezz! do i make some good sense! I meant like which one works for mailing letters, I was just wondering since I only have does two stamps left and wanted to know if they worked...

They will both work, but you have to add extra postage to either of them, as the rate is now 39c. Add a 2-cent stamp (or two 1c stamps) to the 37c stamp to mail a letter or a total of 6 cents in extra postage to the 33-center. Rates will probably be going up in a couple of months, so if you wait very long, check the rates at http://www.usps.com to see what the new rate is.

four cents in value, now we have to use a 39 cent stamp though. the price for first class mail keeps going up.

One is worth 37 cents and the other is worth 33 cents.

the difference is 4 cents.
the price of mail is getting higher, and so older stamps have a lower worth. it costs 37c to buy a stamp now, and if you have a 33c stamp the post office will sometimes return to sender for inadequate postage... interesting huh!?!
