what is a perl script and how do i get one??

The reason I am asking is that I cant open gmail or my gmail account.
I just get a window saying stock overflow at line 1059 and i have only 2 choices - either hit 'OK" or close the window - neither one does anything

Can you be more specific? Why do you think you need a Perl script?
