Seriously, whats with doing meth and having craploads of unprotected sex. It's one of the reasons AIDS is ravaging the gay community.

As stereotypical as it is the question does hold some truth regarding meth and sex. The issue isnt who uses it but what can happen. When one is loaded one forgets about being safe and thus the spread of STD's occur. Among gay men the ratio of HIV infection due to Meth use is alarming. Having said that the same can be said about hetrosexual infection. I work with a local AIDS center.

David,
do you actually think only a gay person it responsible for all of what your saying?
You had better clean the hate from your eye's and look around.

Stop finger pointing and judging only the gay.
It's clearly not right to do this.
David, if you are too busy looking for hate you will never find love my friend.

It's not just the gay people, but yes-- drug abuse, especially stimulants is on the rise again thanks to cheap prices and high availability. I think the anti-gay bash questions that you see JUST here on YANS is a good example of the kind of self-esteem busting that happens to younger gay people, who don't yet know how to rebuff that junk. So they are really prey to all sorts of addictions.

Actually, It's not just the "Gay" people that do it.
Considering the fastest growing group catching HIV is heterosexual black females, why don't you go make your speech to them?

far be it from me to condone drugs, but Ive done everything once (except girls). Meth is like anything else, in moderation its a fun additive, but most people can't just do a little, so it becomes too much a priority. Moderation is key.

Now i must go shoot up.

(just kidding)

Drug abuse and unsafe sex is just as common under straight people. Talk about misinformed....
