i really like this girl but i dont know if she likes me. shes really nice to me and shes always smiling when i pass by. but i dont know if she likes me. how can i tell if she likes me or not without actually asking her!

Oh gosh, I know how you feel! Two years ago, a guy in my class and I were assigned to do a history project together. Up until that point I just thought of him as a classmate, not even a really close friend. He was awesome working in class with though, and getting to know him really changed my mind.
That summer we ended up in the same tennis camp. He was one of the few people I knew, so we ended up playing doubles together often. By the end of the summer we were pretty good friends, and I really liked him, but I didn't know if he felt the same way.
The next year at school we were still good friends. He ended up having the same lunch as my best friend Anna, so he, Anna, his friend Josh, and I began to sort of form a group. I still liked him, but didn't know if he liked me. And there was no way I was going to ask him!
One day in science we were all joking around before the bell rang. I was laughing, and we were trying to see who could lie with a strait face. I said he (Alex) couldn't lie with a strait face, so he turned around and said, "I love you." I turned bright red, and we all started laughing again.
One week later we had a new seating arrangement, and I was seated right next to Alex. I commented on that and he said he asked to be moved next to me. It turns out he said he loved me because he liked me and didn't know if I liked him back. He asked in a joking setting so that it could look like a joke and that he could lie with a strait face.
I would ask her in a setting similar to the one Alex asked me in- that way you would still have your answer, but it wouldn't be so obvious and could pass as a joke. We've been going out for over a year now, so it obviously worked!

Wow i wish u were the guy i liked his name is ..well that doesn't matter. Anyway she prob likes you Because i do those things to a guy if i like them. I smile and look at them sometimes a lot and sometimes the look is returned. If she is a nice girl you could just go up and ask her and see what she says, but if you think the reaction will be heartbreaking then just drop hints that you like her. I know its hard to do. But like someone told me. "Sometimes you need to be pushed in to learn how to swim."

Are you talking about me? lol. probably not though cuz this thing is open to everyone in america. anyway, she probably likes you. With the guy i like, i always smile when ever he does something like stupid or funny or something that suggests that he's flirting. Talk to her. Try to be funny. Even if ur not its still pretty cute for just trying. lol. In my case, im waiting for him to make the 1st move because im not the type to just ask ppl out. Try to talk to her. Try to get her screen name (if she has one). And then when you feel like u can talk to her enough, then just be like"...um so do u wanna like hang out some time?" or something like that.OR if u guys have school dances, ask her to dance (like dont ask her to the dance tho).

If she's one of your friends, you could as another friend to check with her and see what her feelings are. There are plenty of things you could do in a group with friends and see if she spends any time talking just to you. Try to see if she's curious about whether you like her too!

well when i like a guy i usually smile a lot and i'm nice to that guy. it seems like she likes you, just ask her out and see. whats the worst that could happen?

if you catch her staring at you or if she toches your arm when she laughs at you. she'll ask you to dance or sit next to you and maybe flirt a little.
ask one of her friends to ask her who she likes (not if she likes you becausae that makes it obvious)
and if she says she likes you dont ask her out right away, flirt with her. and tell her you like her or leave her a rose with a note that says you like her, girls love sappy stuff like that.

ask her-- life is short , ask her with out giving the idea that you like her too, do it jokingly, its easy that way
