Clinton for reasons (I know, lying under oath ) of having a extra marital affair. It is this affair which led to the impeachment hearings. Gingrich has had a string of affairs, starting when he was a young congressman. There are reports of his having oral sex performed on him while he was in the Congressional parking lot. He asked his wife for a divorce( he was seeing a young intern who he later married) while she was in the hospital with cancer. His second wife( I believe second or third) has come forward with information that would stop any serious attempt on his part to seek the presidency.( sexual indiscretions and infidelity He admits the affair(affairs?) but claims this does not make him a hypocrite. Then, what does? His political career is over, but Fox News will showcase him and ask him for his advice on the Clinton scandal. The pot calling the kettle black.

Unfortunately, it seems that the Clinton Presidency was the last time in American history when being a liar and a hypocrite could get you thrown out of office. In some respects, Gingrich is actually right - having extramarital affairs while calling for the removal of your political opponent on the grounds that he's having extramarital affairs is not stricly speaking hypocritical, it's just hard, unprincipled, highly dangerous politics. Bidding for the Presidency yourself once you've removed someone who had extramarital affairs at the same time that you yourself were having similar affairs...now that takes arrogance to a whole new level. Maybe it'll be a new coinage in the English language, for the non-Judaic community to describe "chutzpah".

"Man, you sure got Gingrich..." might catch on, don't you think?

Why was he even asked under oath if he was having extra marital affairs in the first place? I was a teenager when this all happened so I couldn't have cared less at the time, hence my memory is failing me in this regard. I know some people say that if you are shady in one aspect of your life then you are shady in all aspects in your life. I don't know if this is true though. There have been plenty of people that have managed to keep their private life and public duties seperate. So I always wondered why he was asked in the first place.

Why can't conservatives just admit that there are problems with some of their political viewpoints? They keep defending their positions even though their opinions are clearly incorrect. Sometimes, it is best to admit mistakes and wrongdoings because some of those mistakes and wrongdoings can affect the whole world in very negative ways.

Gingrich is one of the biggest hypocrites alive today.

In addition to his affairs, he also had his wife served with divorce papers.....while she was in the hospital recieving a cancer treatment.

a sprint hypocritical??? it somewhat is an irony. i don't care what every physique does for his or her sexual excitement, yet Gingrich could be held to an identical standards he replaced into annoying from bill Clinton.
