if there are 2600 in a 100 lb box, then there are 26 in a 1 lb box
those 26 cost 44 cents. divide 44 by 26 to see how much one washer costs (1.69 pennies. or $0.0169)
you want 1920, so multiply $0.0169 by 1920 = $32.49 (for 73.85 lbs of washers...)

so 2600 peices cost $44 (100lb x 0.44 cents/lb)
then i do cross division
2600/44 = 1920/x
solve for x
x = (44/2600)x1920
cost for 1920 pieces is $32.49

2600/ 100 = 1920/ x
2600 x = (1920)(100)
x= (1920)(100)/ 2600
to get the cost of 1920 pcs. washers,
