With Kevin Durant do you see them going to NCAA Tournament and winning it all

Texas will not go and win the NCAA tournament this year. This year there is not a clear cut front runner there are 5-8 and Texas is not one of them. North Carolina, Florida, Ohio St., Georgetown, UCLA, Kansas, Wisconsin are all Road Blocks for Texas. The might get a break and play in the west which is usually the weakest bracket.

Do I think Texas is good enough? No. Do I think Kevin Durant is good enough? Yes. Now, no one player can single-handlely lead his team to a NCAA title, right? Wrong. In 1988, Danny Manning led Kansas to the National Championship. Can you name anyone else that was on that team? Kansas was not suppose to even make the Sweet 16 but they rode the back of Manning all the way to the championship. In college basketball, one player can carry you to the title but that player has to be special and if you have watched Kevin Durant he has the ability to score from everywhere and anywhere on the floor and in essence there is enough talent in place around him...DJ Augustine and AJ Abrams are sensational offensive players and in the NCAA tourney you do not have much time to prepare for your opponent and two guards who have the ability to make 3s and score plus Durant is a formula to go far in the tournament. Other than those 3 players, Texas lacks the experience to win it all but with that much talent experience can go out the window.

Not a chance, though they are going to be a tough team in the tournament. Abrams, Augustin, and Durant are an awesome trio. I know it's a slim hope, but it'd be nice to see them back together next year.

I predict sweet 16 for Texas.

i love texas and all but i must say no. i think theyll make it to the elite 8 though. texas showed that durant cant do it by himself. they were up 16 against kansas and lost. durant just had 7 pts. sure he got inured but, its part of the game. besides durant texas doesnt really have a great scorer, maybe augustin but its not enough against elite teams.

NO........Durant will get his points,Augustine will get a few more but any good well balanced team with some depth can take them,Gonzaga did a job on them early in the season, with a couple of freshmen, and one soph and a fair bench!......Elite8 at best.

Why not. There is no clear cut candidate.
