I wouldn't proscribe having sex based on an age, but rather, on the experience. You should be mature, understand the consequences of your action, know what's motivating you, be considerate of your partner . . . the list goes on. Some people have all these things at a young age; others still don't have them even as they broach old age.
Wait at least until your 18; then sex is legal, as it isn't when you're younger. But I'd advise you wait longer, until you find someone special you can share the experience with, instead of rushing towards the goal because you've hit a self-proscribed age max, you know?
Hope that helps.

A good age for most is probably minimum 16-18. Not younger. Depends on what you want and if you've met someone obviously. Whatever you decide make sure you are safe and aren't in a situation where they are going to treat you like crap.

First of all, sex shouldn't even be a consideration until you're 18.
Second, when you do, make sure it's with someone you love, and someone who loves you too! Be careful, though, because he's gonna try to trap you by saying, "If you love me, you'll have sex with me". Don't fall for it! Tell him, "Well, if you love ME, you'll wait until I'm ready." If he doesn't get that, kick him to the curb.
He will do and say anything and everything to get you to have sex with him, but tell him no, not until you're ready. You'll regret it when you finally give it to him and he breaks up with you the next day after he got what he wanted.

yeah it may sound fun, but there is even more consequences then pregancy and disease(im not saying that those arent important). If you aremature, you should know having sex with someone doesnt neccessarly mean you love them or they love you. it means you lust them and they lust you. if you dont seperate those feelings a whole bunch of drama can get stirred up and you can get confused.
