The "Shrimp on the Barbie" ad really screwed up the image for a while. Especially with those who know the word Prawn. Having worked in New Guinea, I didn't see the best side of the Australians.

I dont really stereotype people or pay attention to stereotypes in general.
But I love the Aussie accent, gotta be my favorite of all. Especially when y'all say "so", its just wonderful.
You guys have vegemite, which I have tried and find disgusting. And Steve Irwin introduced me to a whole bunch of Australian snakes and weird animals. Thats pretty much all I can think of right now.
Looks like a great country overall, and one which I cant wait to visit.

I've heard that you guys refer to man as "bloke"..then theres the accent, which I love. I have no idea what life is like in Australia..i'd love to find out, though.
