different industries are experiencing various types of attrition rates. software companies are experiencing 8to 9%. manufacturing companies are getting at 3to4%. there are several reasons for tyhis.1.offrice ewnvironment may not be conducive.2.better opportunities.3.better pay.4.place or nearest to family 5.marriage in case of female employees. 6.lack of job satisfaction.7.no opportunities or promotion in the present job. 8.acquiring new qualification for better opportunities. un coperative team managers or bosses. stress levels etc. all are contributing factors for attrition. comanies are trying not only to recruit best people but endeavouring to retain them thereby attrition rate will come down.
