Booing is stupid. Period. The only exception is if it becomes clear that a person isn't trying.

Out of college ball? Ridiculous. I'm pretty much against stifiling anyone's freedom to express their disatisfaction with the game on the floor. Maybe booing 6 year olds isn't the greatest idea (and could earn you a punch in the mouth), but college kids? No way.
Basically, if you paid for the ticket, you should have the right to boo the product they're selling.

That's ridiculus. How are going to enforce that rule anyway? I say get a thicker skin or get out of the game because you get a lot worse than booing when you play in the NBA.

Anyone who goes to a game has the right to boo or cheer anyone on the court. The alternative would be to have those golf guys holding up "quiet" signs during play. Now that would really suck.

this is just the NCAA officials trying to be control freaks...
the fact of the matter is that college kids are emotional about sports, so if u try to hamper them, they'll just all choose to watch on TV or get kicked out of the arena, because they have school pride and it would just show there loyalty to the game

deal with it. it's going to happen in the pros so they might as well get used to it.
i mean if a ref makes a bad call.. you gotta let them know!
if someone is an a** boo them.
the only booing i'm against is if your team isn't doing well. you're a fan and that's not going to help them get back in the game..

Booing adds life to the game..why remove it and make basketball boring?? Are players afraid of distraction? I dont think so...
