Man, people take things just as seriously as I feared.

James Taylor WAS God, he played him in Randy Newman's Faust

only music of his I ever liked, but man. people got some venom in them, don'tcha?

the beginning guitar intro of "Mexico" might suggest that, but I don't think so, as some people like Elvis Costello have written him off as simply being a "boring artist"

No, not all all.

I used to LOVE James Taylor. Then my manager played him endlessly at work for an entire week. He may be a good musician, but listening to him for 42 hours in a week would cause anyone to like him less.

If you "worship" him as such he could very well be YOUR god.Not necessarily anybody elses. God is God as you see and /or visualize him or it in some cases. As to him being god ,No one that I know has come back from the grave to relay that particular msg. to us yet. If you do get an answer let ALL of us know!! PLEASE. It would be the miracle of the century !!

WHAT? He's so totally mediocre and boring I have a hard time to recall that "James Taylor" should sound familiar LOL

Excellent question, woogie.

I think that we all are god.

So, therefore, James Taylor IS God.

Thank you.
