They were better 2getter...but I tend to like lennon better....he wrote better lyrics and had a more raw voice. McCartney sold more...but most his solo stuff was kinda fluff compared to Lennons/

Yes,Lennon and McCartney seemed to do a lot together. It seems the two of them together was greater than their being separate. McCartney alone has had few great songs since the Beatles. Lennon may have been more talented.

McCartney can put together musically what Lennon could not and lyrically visa versa.

I vote for George Harrison as being the better combined musician and lyricists of the two.

How do we measure that, genius? By whom you like better? And who, exactly, would be qualified to decide that about the guys who basically created pop?
Let's see what happens first - either you figure out how that is measured or you grow a brain and admit that the question is stupid.
Give LostPanda 10 before you report me - he seems to be the only one among the previous folks who has a brain.
I may be rude, but I simply can't believe that people try to really measure who is "better" and "best" and of course can't tell what "better" means - that is SO demented.

I think you are speaking about a matter of preference rather than something tangible that can be measured. You can probably bet that someone somewhere thinks Yoko Ono is more talented than the both of them.
