Well I don't think tan lines are all that bad... unless you have a giant farmers tan or something really obvious, whats the big deal? A lot of girls always undo the straps to their bathing suit so they can tan, complain about uneven tan lines... I have this really big tan line from a one piece because i am on swim team. I dont think its a big deal, if anything, it shows off how well you tan! So I was just wondering why girls hate tan lines so much.

Well I would say for those of us married with kids - its because we are ever hopeful to be taken out on that special surprise evening / date whatever, where you want to look stunning in that gorgeous backless evening gown you own (that is sitting gathering dust in the back of your closet) with a flawless sunkissed body ................but then it never does happen, winter comes around, you lose your tan anyway but then we start worrying all over again the following year.
Bathing suit straps aren't really that bad but I live in Arizona where its 80s in Feb and my problem is currently the panda eye look as I run alot and catch a lot of tan on my face but not where my sunglasses have been. Now that is a big deal! its quite an strange look

I don't hate tan lines. In fact, I love them. After spending a sunny day at the beach, I like to check out my tan line just to see how tanned I got. But mine are bikini lines. I think, bikini lines are sexy. Hm...I guess I'm just weird.

I don't hate tan lines, I like them. My bf said that having a tan is like having fried chicken--the white parts are the best. :)

I think everyone is way too uptight about their bodies, what with tan lines, hair removal ,dying straightening , not being caught dead in... fill in the blank. It never used to be that way. Well not so much anyway.

I don't like them because if you wear a strappy top or something then it shows your tan lines. I think it looks tacky. To me it is almost as bad as VPL

I don't like my body to be different colors. I don't like my bum to glow in the dark. I am way pale, so if I tan the smallest bit, it just does not look good in my opinion.

I wouldnt say that I hate them.. its just that when you have a few different suits.. it looks kind of silly to have all kinds of lines all over your body.. and to me, they are a reminder of my naturual white, pale skin tone .. and in comparison to my nice tan it really looks hideous!

I like my tan line, especially when I get them one my feet when I wear my sandals.
