So i heard this word for the first time tonight, and found out its more common than i thought!?

synesthesia...it is, in its simplest form, when one sense triggers another unrelated sense. like, if you hear a number, you see a color. or if you hear a certain sound, you taste some particular taste. its not a voluntary thing, it has to do with wireing in the brain from what ive gatherd. i for example, can hear a number, and see a color. for example, if i hear the number 6, i see a flash of blue, 13 is an almost neon red, and so on. i didnt know this had a name till tonight, all i knew is that i heard numbers and saw colors. some people have used this to help them with math, and end up beign REALLY good at it. it doesnt help me with that, but it does make remembering phone numbers easier. also, sometimes i see colors and then get a taste of something. that one is really weird, and tends to only happen if the color stands out to me somehow, like a blue ball in a field of yellow flowers. so, do you have a form of synesthesia? if so, what?
