You bet and what's more sad is slavery ended in the 1800s (now don't hold me to that date) But human trafficking is up higher than ever before, with no end in site.

Human trafficking is the transportation and sale of human beings. So yes that is the legal term for selling slaves.

it is worse than slavery. human trafficking is done in secret, so it is difficult to rescue them

Yes...in a lot of cases they have their travel and identification documents taken away, and they don't legally "exist" in their new country...also, they are not allowed freedom of movement, freedom of opinions or choices regarding their lives...their lives are controlled by some one else...

Pretty much, mostly women and young children as sex slaves, the worst part is that America is involved in an international child sex ring

i see it more as prostitution than slavery.. but i guess if you're being forced into prostitution, it can lead to slavery.
