Sometimes free where you bank or where you work.b Ask around. Should not cost a lot, maybe $5 at other banks, I think.

You need to contact the Secretary of State for the State of California and they will provide you with all the information you will need or go online, I am sure they have a website that will provide this information as well. The fees are usually not too high, however, I guess that is depending on how much you want to invest.
